What I Got For Christmas 2014 || Kate

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a great Christmas - I certainly did, spending the day with all my family which was really lovely. This post is showing you some of the lovely presents that I received, I hope you enjoy reading it!

I got lots of lovely little things in my stocking this year, some of them are in the picture below. I've already finished reading 'Let It Snow' and it was so good! I got a couple of pairs of Topshop frilly socks which are so cute. Obviously no Christmas stocking is complete without a selection box!

I also got these two things from Soap and Glory in my stocking -  the 'Supercat' eye liner and the 'Thick and Fast' mascara. Both of these are lovely and do their jobs really well!

From my Nana I received Zoella's 'Girl Online' book. I'm already about halfway through and am loving it so far! She also gave me the Hollister 'Crescent Bay' body spray which smells amazing.

I was lucky to get not one but two make-up bags - one is from Ted Baker and is so cute and the other has some adorable dogs on it. I also got some lovely nail polish from Emma's (@_emma__c) Mum which was very kind of her. I can add it to my ever-growing collection of nail varnish!

From my parents I got this gorgeous Pandora bracelet as well as the Father Christmas charm. I then got the dog one from my Grandparents! It's so lovely and I'm very grateful to have got it this year.

In my family we have a tradition where we get 'tree presents' which magically appear at the end of the day and are supposedly bought by the tree! (I used to genuinely believe that they were bought by the tree and it was so cute to see my 6 year old cousin getting excited about it this year!) I got this cute little 'Fresh Skin' set from Elemis which I have only used a couple of times but it is really nice and I have already put it on my birthday list!

Finally I got a pair of Christmas pj's and a cosy fluffy jumper thing from my brother.

I hope you enjoyed me sharing my presents with you. I hope you had a brilliant Christmas!

What I got for Christmas 2014| Ella

Hello! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas day, on today's blog post I will be showing you everything I received, however I am in no way showing of, I am grateful for everything I had and I'm so thankful that I have such lovely friends and family who spoil me!

Every Christmas Eve, my mom and dad do a Christmas Eve bag, and It contains pyjamas, chocolates and a bath bomb! This year I had a lovely blue and striped onsie from next, a Terry's chocolate orange, and a lush, melting snowman bath melt. It's a lovely way to relax on Christmas Eve, and to get me in the mood for Christmas!

On Christmas morning I woke up at 6:30 ( yes I am 16, but I was very excited) I think it's the only day of the year I get up before an alarm. This was mine, my brothers and my mom and dads presents. My main present isn't here, as they brought it in as a surprise so I don't see it straight away, sneaky..

Here is everything I had for Christmas..

1. A smart tv. I was so happy about this, firstly it's white, and it will match my room. Secondly my tv has been broke for a year so I can finally watch my miranda and friends box set! ( that's what I am currently doing, it's 4:30pm and I haven't got out of bed yet, bad choice mum and dad)

The rest of my presents I've organised into sections, so it's easier to show you what I had.

Clothes
I received some nice teal and grey gym clothes, because I've recently joined the gym, not to loose weight, but because I feel I need to get fitter and it's nice to go every Thursday with my friends. My local gym has a teen offer and it's £1 eveytime you go. Woo!
I had some nice frilly socks, I am obsessed and they are such a cute pattern!
I had a nice navy jumper too, and some amazing gingerbread thermal leggings from primark. They are the cosiest leggins ever.
From my auntie, I had the comfiest onsies, it's a polar bear with a floral lining, and I have been living in this since Christmas Day.

Books
I had from my friend Molly the pointless blog book, which I have wanted for ages!
I also had the diary of a wimpy kid recent book, I'm not ashamed to say I love these books!
As I'm obsessed with YouTube, I had the girl online book by 'zoella' although a lot of controversy about it, I can honestly say it was an amazing book, I can't wait until the sequel comes out!
Because I live baking my mom brought me the bake off book, I can't wait to try some of the recipies in it.

Beauty
I have wanted real techniques for ages and I am so impressed with them and my makeup looks better from using the right tools.
I had the zoella makeup bag from my friend Pippa, and it fits all my makeup in perfectly! I forgot to add in the photo, I had a sleek blush is rose gold. It isn't as pigmented as I hoped but when I put a few layers on it's lovely. And the lipsticks crayons are very sheer and pigmented and I love them!
I'm ashamed to say, I've never really taken care of my skin before I just washed it with soap and water and rarely moisturised. But from using this benefit cleansing face wash, I have seen a total differnece with my skin. It's my new must have, definitely worth the money.
You can never go wrong with lush and I have golden wander and dashing Santa, they smell amazing!

Jewellery
I was lucky enough from my mum and dad to receive a pandora bracelet. It's grey and beautiful, I've never had a pandora bracelet before and so happy I've finally got one!
From my nan I had a new ring to go with the one she got me for my birthday. I love it!
I also had a very pretty charm from my auntie and a £20 gift card, that I can't wait to spend.
From my other nan, I received a watch set, which you can switch the colour of, I think that's cool!

Chocolate
No Christmas is complete without a ridiculous amount of chocolate and sweets. This will last me until next Christmas.

I hope you all had a nice Christmas and tell me what you had in the comments below! Here's a cheeky Christmas selfie for you!

Again, if you brought me a present, thankyou so much, I'm really apriciatige and love everything I received!
Love Ella xx

What I Got for My Birthday and Christmas! || 2014

Hello! I hope you're all well and have had a lovely Christmas!

I've been asked to do a blogpost about what I got for my birthday and one about what I got for Christmas so I decided as my birthday was Christmas Eve I would combine the two!

Bit of a disclaimer: everyone says this but I'm not bragging about anything I was given, I am so grateful to have amazing family and friends who are incredibly generous and I could not thank them enough for all of their gifts.

I received this cute little baking file/organiser thing, I'm not sure how to describe it but it has different sections for cakes, cupcakes etc. and you can write your recipes down in it. It'll be very useful! I also got this adorable bunny bunting, which I like to call 'bunnyting', I can't wait to put it up in my room!

I was given three Barry M nail nail paints as you have probably realised I'm a big fan of Barry M! From left to right these are Watermelon, Gold Mine Glitter and Plum.

I was given this cute glitter and nail polish duo from Fearne's Christmas collection!

I also got this Maybelline nail polish in the shade Pink Volt and I haven't used it yet but the colour is gorgeous.

I was given this Charlie Red perfume and it smells lovely!

I received another set of fairy lights to add to my collection, I now have a total of five sets in my room!

I was lucky enough to be given these beautiful sterling silver earrings and I can imagine I'll be getting a lot of use out of them!

All the jewellery I was given seemed to be heart themed although not all from the same people! I was given a matching bracelet and necklace!

My friends know I'm a big tea drinker so I'm now sorted for all my tea holding needs!

More Barry M, who would've guessed?! These cute travel sized brishes were in my stocking as well as a little Barry M makeup bag!

I've grown up watching Disney films, so receiving these DVDs and a CD was great! I'm watching Tangled now as I'm writing this!

I got two cute scarves, very handy as it's snowy here at the moment!

I received this cute little clock so I'll never be late!

I got these very cute socks so now my feet will be cosy, warm and cute at the same time!

I was given two Thorntons Snowdogs and a Snowmas which had a bit of trouble standing up, for my birthday, as well of lots of other chocolate in my stocking!

I was given this incredibly cute blue satchel with foxes on, an owl cushion and a microwaveable owl too!

Probably the best idea for a selection box EVER. The colours from left to right (the same order as they were taken out of the box and as they're written on the box so I'm assuming it'd be the same order) Golden Vision, Sea Breeze, Pink Creme, Coral Reef, Viva Pink, Perfectly Flesh, Real Red, Romance, Decadance, Opal Topcoat, Fabulous and Sheer Love.

I received these cute mini bathbombs and although I don't take baths (I'm much more of a shower person) I will use them somehow!

I also got a few more things but I haven't got photos and I'm sure the post is long enough!
Once again I'm so grateful for all the lovely gifts I was given, I'm very lucky to have such wonderful people in my life!

I hope you enjoyed this! What was your favourite gift you received or your favourite part about Christmas this year?

Lots of love,

Merry Christmas!

Good evening and a very merry Christmas to you all!

That's all I really wanted to say in this post but it'd be a bit pointless so I'll add some Christmassy photos I took around my house in at the end! It was my birthday yesterday, you'd know I turned sixteen if you read the cutest little blogpost Ella wrote for me (thanks Ella)

I hope you've all had an absolutely amazing Christmas Day filled with happiness, joy, family, friends and of course, good food! Enjoy the rest of your evening,
Lots of love,
Emma xxx
